Our Profile
Our Bank was established by His Highness Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in the year 1917 on Dipawali Day. During the initial period, the number of retirees was very small but by the 1980s, good number of officers who had joined the then Patiala State Bank or Bank of Patiala superannuated. It was the time when necessity of forming an Association and bringing the officers together was felt. With this noble aim of taking care of interests of the retired officers, the State Bank of Patiala Retired Officers’ Association was formed on the 16th March 1986.
